Adding a subtask to an issue type

I have created a new issue type and I want to add an existing subtask to it. How do I do this?

If you have a sub-task that is already create and you created a new issue and want to have the old sub-task under your new issue you will have to move the sub-task: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jiracoreserver/moving-an-issue-939937918.html

If you created a new issue type and you would like to be able to create new sub-tasks under that new issue type then you will need to ensure that the issue scheme that the new issue type is in has sub-tasks in it.
