Adding components by normal users

Hi,

We moved from Jira6.2 to Jira7, we saw that in the new jira the components can now be added on the fly, which means that typos are entered as components.

Can this option be blocked? is there any way to disabled it?

Only people with project admin rights can add components.  You can't disable the on-the-fly addition for them without hacking code to remove it, so the usual answer is "warn your admins that they're getting it wrong".
