In a create transition I had a validator. User needed to update Component field in order to create an issue. User would push the Create button and in the Create Issue Screen would see the summery and a required field, update it and then push create. This rule was running for about 6 month with 0 problem.
With the new Jira update, I lost the required field from Create Issue Screen and I am unable to fix it. Clicking the action button and choosing the custom field from More Fields option is a one time solution. If i try to create a new issue the same problem occurs.
Is there a way to make custom fields appear in the create issue screen permanently like it used to be?

can you please open an already existing issue of the same type.
In the bottom right corner you'll see a button that is called "Configure".
Here you should check if the field is visible and not in the "Hidden when empty" section.
