Adding fields to jira issue via plugin

Hey,

I'm developing a jira plugin and I'd like the plugin to add some fields to all issues in a projects. Is there an example of how to do this?

Hi Roi,

Check out this tutorial for creating a custom field through a plugin. The tutorial does have you manually add the field to the issue type schemes through the web interface, but should still be a good primer on what's involved.

We also have a dedicated Developer Community that might be good to check out for plugin development related questions. Since the topics are more focused, it's easier for other developers to watch the questions coming in and provide guidance.
