Good day ladies, gentlemen,
Tried this :
https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/menus-missing-from-jira-administration-panel-224396336.html
But the admin menu is still not visible.
The installation of 7.7.4 had the same issue but the previous link solved it.
But after trying to configure openldap, it ended up showing only blank page (error.jsp).
So I decided to try 7.8.
We're trying to install and setup Jira for a few days now... not quite easy nor stable.
Please help!
Sylvain
Hmm.. Yeah when configuring LDAP or something related to that those menu are observed to be removed.. So the link from this is not working?
<baseurl>/secure/admin/jira/ViewPlugins.jspa?mode=enable&pluginKey=jira.webfragments.admin
Can you go directly then to Manage Add-ons.. <baseurl>/plugins/servlet/upm/manage/all later .. Search All -> System Admin Menu Sections plugin (or something like that) and check it it's enabled?
Tried to go directly to <baseurl>/plugins/servlet/upm/manage/all but it bouncedme back to the welcome page without Admin menu!
The link <baseurl>/secure/admin/jira/ViewPlugins.jspa?mode=enable&pluginKey=jira.webfragments.admin does the same.
Something weird though... If I refresh the page, I see the menu appearing for less than a second then disappear !
I even been able to click it but the page refresh itself so fast ....
So I always endup to this page...

I had something similar but turns out I had to reset the look & feel colors as it was using white on white for some of the menu items which is really odd.
