Advance Search using JQL

Hi Team

My One of the team member write  a advance search using JQL query,  previously it's working fine but after few day later it's not working can you suggest 

Please find the below JQL query :

project in (XXXXX, XXXXX) AND issue in issuesWhereEpicIn("labels != Smallworks") AND status not in (Cancelled, Closed) AND issuetype in ("Initial Impact Assessment") AND (labels in (XXX, XXX) OR issue in issuesWhereEpicIn("labels in(XXX, XXX)"))

Please do the needful for us.

Please provide more details about exactly how it is not working. Provide an example of an issue that you think meets the criteria and should be included, but is not being included.
