Hi,
we are using the advanced roadmap for the planning of different developer teams. We use the kanban style and have set the capacities per week for all the teams.
In this article: https://confluence.atlassian.com/advancedroadmapsserver/displaying-capacity-in-a-plan-974360323.html
it says: "For Kanban teams, if an issue spans multiple weeks, its capacity will be equally distributed among the weeks." Does this only apply when using the auto scheduling?
We are facing the following problem:
A task has an estimate of 5 working days. When planning this issue for 2 weeks the work load is only added to the first week, although we would need it to be spread equally among the two weeks.
Instead, issues are planned in the "scrum way", filling up the iterations first, before adding estimations to the next iteration. Is there any other setting that needs to be adjusted to have the capacity spread equally within the planned timeslots for each issue?
Teams are set up as kanban teams:
Ideas are much appreciated! Thanks! :-)
It did not only apply for autoscheduling issues, it worked the way you would expect and the way it is described in the documentation.
Something changed recently (last 2-3 months) and it's doing something else now.
