Hi everyone! I hope all are well.
From the plan screen, when I select an issue, a popup window displays. However, it only shows the issue's description.
I have custom fields that I'd like to show in this popup instead of in a column. I am wondering how I can get those custom fields to show in this popup. Does anyone know if that option is available?
Hi @Senita and welcome to the Community!
I didn't even know you could make this popup appear! 😀
I am quite sure you cannot alter that. As a wprkaround, just clicking the issue link opens the full issue screen in Jira, where you have access to all the fields on the issue, even the ones that cannot be shown inside Advanced Roadmaps.
By holding the CTRL / Command key while you click, the issue opens in a new browser tab, so you don't loose the view of your plan while doing this.
Hope this helps!
We considered that too -- opening the issue link in a new tab, but it will disrupt the flow of our developer meetings. We may stick to the detailed view of a filter, or create a Kanban board for those meetings.
However, for our manager meetings, we can use this popup. I discovered that we can edit the description in that popup box and quickly add highlightable notes.
