I have attached a screen shot of my Advanced Roadmaps plan that includes epics and stories from multiple jira projects.  This is my attempt to show a cross-team view of a large project involving multiple development teams.  You will notice that for teams that do not use sprints (WMP) there are Target Start/End dates that do generate the expected gantt view.  In the plan configuration I have check marked the 'Use sprint dates when issues don't have start/end dates'.  I assumed that my tasks with sprints identified would also generate gantt lines but they do not.  I am using a unique filter to get all epics and stories tied to a single Capability in Advanced Roadmaps (issuekey in childIssuesOf(ITP-231)'.

Go to Setting> General>Scheduling-

On Dates select Use sprint dates when issues don't have start and end dates.

It may work... Thanks
