Advanced Search Issue - Search did not return result after setting filters

Qayyuum Harun July 5, 2020

Hi,

I was not able to get the search result when filtering issues. The issues list is greyed out after I selected additional filters. I clicked Search button after that, but nothing happens.

I attached 2 screenshots for your reference.

Screenshot 2: Console error when pressing Search

Hello @Qayyuum Harun

Thank you for reaching out.

The fact that your issue list is greyed out after you click in the search button probably means that the search request process was not finished yet.

In order to troubleshoot this behavior, please try the steps below:

  1. Try to reproduce the same problem using a different browser in incognito mode, also clearing the browser cache
  2. On the right side of the search bar, click in the three bars button to switch from Detail to List View, checking if the same problem reproduces when clicking on "Search". Even if this step does not work, you should not see the greyed out issues when executing the search
  3. I see in the screenshot you posted that you are using the Simple search to reproduce the problem. Can you confirm if the same problem happens using the advanced search mode?
  4. Confirm with your infra team if the domains and IP ranges of the following documentation were cleared in your network and proxy server settings:
Atlassian cloud IP ranges and domains
