Hello

I would like to mention first that JIRA is a pretty good software.

So lets go straight to the point.

I have been struggling trying to get a overall overview of how my project are going. For example: I would like to see how behind(in hours) is one project in comparison with the issues solved and the still remaining ones.

Also I would like to see an overall overview of how my coworkers performance is (solving issues).  I would like to see the data represented as charts or in a good plain text format.

I did some searches and researches about some pluggins and gadgets but some of them seem to be kind expensive and they do not have all what I need.

I do not know if I am missing something and if you can recommend me some sort of tool to handle this problem, but these type of features that I am asking, they should be integrated by default with JIRA. These features are basic.

Thank you!!

Jira ships with a number of built in gadgets that you can display on a dashboard to help with some of this.   In your case, I would recommend the dashboard gadget called 'Projects' to start. This gadget can give you a quick overview of multiple projects, but I actually recommend limiting this gadget to the 1 column setting.  I find that trying to use the 2 or 3 column setting for this gadget actually obscures the open issues bar graph that I think is useful here.

There are also a number of other dashboard gadgets that are built into Jira that could be helpful here, but I am still not clear if these can be configured in the exact way you are looking for just yet.

But in addition to the dashboards, since it looks like you might be using Jira Software, you should be made aware that Jira Software/Jira Agile includes a number of reports that can help you determine a project's status, progress, etc.   A brief overview of these reports are explained in Reporting - Jira Software - Atlassian Documentation.  For example, the Sprint report and the Burndown report can be helpful for Software projects as a means to understand how your team is progressing be it within a single sprint, or when looking through a series of sprints.

There are also a number of other project reports that apply to all Jira projects (and not just software projects).  Among these are the created vs resolved issues chart, user workload report, and the time tracking report.  Given what you are stated, I think that these build in reports in Jira can help you find most if not all of this information.

Only if you find that the dashboard gadgets, and the project reports are truly insufficient for your reporting needs would I then suggest exploring some other possible solutions for reporting in Jira.  There are a number of options in our Marketplace site, both free and paid, that you can try out with Jira.   For Jira server, I clicked through and found the reports category https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?category=Reports&hosting=server&product=jira
