But I still don't really understand the advantages of the simplified work flow, can someone boil it down to how it helps your day to day work? Also I like that the transition screens encourage people to add a comment when a bug is resolved or closed, don't people miss not having that?
Simplified workflow basically creates a workflow scheme and a workflow for you to use in JIRA. All you need to do is click a button to create a new status. You can mix and match and use the simplied workflow and then go to the administration screen and customize it.
How about the "no transition screens" thing. Doesn't that mean people don't comment on issues that they resolve or close as much? Do people like having no screens there?
