After Upgrading to 7.12.1 Getting double search tabs in advance filter?

Why i am getting Double Search Button one of my old filter page.

Hello, Kunal.

I have not stumbled upon this issue before but would like to understand the problem better:

  • Is this happening to only one specific filter page?
  • When you mentioned old filter, does that mean that it was created before the upgrade was done?
  • Do you observe this happening on Incognito / private mode of the web browser?
  • What happens when you reuse the same JQL query and save it as a new filter? Is it still showing the same double search button?

Interested to know if this is just a one time off issue or rather something that needs to be investigated further.

It looks like web page has two search button code hence this is showing 2 times.

Hi there, Kunal.

I have attempted to reproduce the issue on my end to no avail. Since this issue is happening as a whole across all filters on incognito mode, I would like to verify if you have any third-party add-ons installed in the JIRA instance which can potentially contribute to this issue.

If you do, can you enable the Safe Mode  and let me know if you still run into the same issue?

Quick check to see if you have had the chance to enable the safe mode and verify if the same problem persisted after that. Do you have any updates to share so far? Thanks.

Hi there, Kunal.

Putting this one up here so that users can refer to in case they run into the same issue.

Safe Mode disabled the third-party addons that were installed in the system and the Search button returned to normal again

Thanks ahmad in safe mode that problem got resolved so it's due to some plugin
