After deploy & install app i cannot see hello world text message in the bottom

I followed the hello-world app creation tutorial and successfully deployed and installed it. However, when clicking on the app icon in the issue panel, the expected "hello-world" message does not display. I've tried multiple times; occasionally it works, but it consistently fails on the same enterprise instance.
