After migration, copy/add (old) JIRA Groups /roles

I am migrating from the cloud. After that, all group memberships are lost - as stated in https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver075/managing-multiple-directories-935391053.html

Is there a script (bash or scriptrunner or similar) or a plugin/tool to overcome this as in:

1. After migration, save all usernames with group memberships.

2. Add AD as first Directory

3. Reapply all group membership to the user again (now the AD user).

Any caveats?

Thanks, we wont use "the type Internal with LDAP authentication" though.
