The ability to display the fields of the backlog view on the right side of the cards was the default option on the old issue layout, however, it was changed to the left side of the card with the new layout implementation.
Some other users have also requested to restore this same functionality, as you can see here. That being said, we created a feature request to implement that view in Jira again:
- Ability to view old card layout in Agile boards
