Annotate a text field

Is it possible to annotate a custom unlimited text field? How can we do this?

I'm not sure what you mean by "annotate". If you mean add a description to help the user, yes, look at the field config as an admin. If you mean having the user enter more data, add another field below it, or ask them to put the information in the field.

Or something else?
