I'm experimenting with Jira "Projects" (to be honest I don't even know how Atlassian calls it. Feels confusing).
Anyway, my actual problem:
it seems that, while editing a box, you cannot click to scroll down without losing the text... and scrolling with the mouse only works if you are within the area of the actual updates. This seems to be a basic web usability issue.
It's hard to demonstrate the actual mouse scroll button usage, but you can see that the text screen only actually scrolls when my mouse is hovering the (relative small) text area of my screen.
I tried this on my site (while using Edge) and it seems to work, can you perhaps add the URL or the path where you're trying this update?
You may have stumbled upon a browser specific bug too, which can be reported to Atlassian.
I realized that the scroll works if I'm hovering the current item being edited. If the mouse is hovering other item then the scroll doesn't work. I checked this in Chrome and Edge and the behavior was the same.
