I am using Anthropic Claude desktop and web, announced here: https://www.anthropic.com/news/integrations
On the linked website: https://www.atlassian.com/platform/remote-mcp-server, FAQ takes me to the below article:
I am following the instructions provided by Atlassian / Jira to setup the integration:
Here's what I see on Claude Web - I click "Connect" next:
Here's what the "connect" button takes me to on my browser:
Here's what the "Accept" button takes me to
And on Claude Desktop, when I click connect, I get brought to a webpage that says:
{ "type": "error", "error": { "type": "permission_error", "message": "Invalid authorization" } }
I am an Admin user for my team account.
I am not the "Primary Owner" nor an "Owner". Do I need either of these to configure this connection and/or setup new ones for my team?
The instructions on the linked document mention to contact an administrator:
If you are part of a Team plan, contact your administrator to follow the steps below from https://claude.ai/settings/integrations.
Looking for any pointers on:
How we can trial these new MCP Integrations, and enable new ones for the team.

I got this fixed thanks to Nhut Tran comment. Might be the only MCP to throw such a weird error, but here it is:
Claude Desktop -> Atlassian MCP connector
Error:
{"type":"error","error":{"type":"permission_error","message":"Invalid authorization"}}
Fix:
On the same browser make sure you are logged in with your Claude account and your Atlassian account. It seems Atlassian does some kind of re-directions with Claude so your account needs to be logged in.

You can try to log in on both Claude desktop and Claude web with the same account first.

Same issue for me, on a Max account, not like Atlassian to never respond, or even have something working though, so not expecting any answer soon on this. Useless.
