You can do a lot of Automation for Jira. But again, it depends on what you are trying to do. You shouldn't be asked that question without someone defining the requirements for you.

I am trying to fetch testcases linked to issue (Story) in a sprint, How to achieve this without script runner plugin.  

I am trying to use below query. 

issuetype = Test and issueFunction in linkedIssuesOf("issuetype = Story and Sprint = 1234")
