Any reason why "WAS" operator for pulling in Escalated tickets through Advanced Search not working?

End Goal: Pull all tickets that were Escalated from ALL projects, regardless of current status at the time of query. 

WAS operator does not pull in accurate data of escalated tickets from my Service Desk Projects. When I tried using a direct query of "Status = Escalated" it's working with no issues and pulling tickets that are currently escalated. 

My query is as simple as "Status was escalated" and it only pulls tickets that I have manipulated in the default JSD Demo Project accordingly (though I have not specified a project), but none from my other projects even if I know for sure that there are tickets from those that had been escalated once or twice before.  

My first thought is that there might be a problem with the workflow but "Status = Escalated" is working as expected for those projects. And, no huge difference from that of the Demo's workflow but naming conventions.  

I'm not really sure what I'm missing.

Hi @John Funk no reason. Just thought of expounding my predicament since I was getting desperate and thought maybe I'd get more ideas. Still haven't figured it out.
