When logging time to issues via the Tempo heading, there is a button 'Add Expense' - is there any way to remove that option?
Thanks in advance!
Hi Philip,
currently the only way to do this is by disabling one of the Tempo Timesheets modules. We do not recommend this but it might solve your problem.
To do so, go to JIRA Administration, Add-ons, Manage add-ons. Expand the Tempo Timesheets section and click the "+" sign next to the number of enabled modules. This gives you the list of modules in Timesheets. Find the "Tempo Issue Panel add expense" and disable it.
This removes the "Add Expense" link in the More dropdown for all users in all Issues. We have an Improvement request for this in our Tempo support instance that you can comment and follow (https://tempoplugin.jira.com/browse/TT-3454).
Regards,
Susanne

Why do you not recommend to disable it ?

The workaround suggested in 2016 doesn't have any effect. Would it be possible to have an update, @Susanne Götz _Tempo_ ?

Hi @norus
The workaround originally mentioned in this thread is still working for the "Add expense" link in the "More" dropdown of the issue, but it does not remove the option from the Tempo panel in the issue view.
There is no option to disable this individual link in the Tempo module in the issue view.
Best regards,
Susanne

We also need to disable the expense time planning for tempo timesheets for all team members. We need an urgent solution for this...

Hi, looks like disabling this module doesn't show any effect anymore. Any idea why? Thanks.
