Any way to search for the issues Resolved before the Due-date without using external plugin?

Is there any other ways to fetch the issues resolved before the due date.

I doesn't want to use scriptrunner plugin.

Any  help for creating a custom plugin that will help me to achieve this scenario?

A JQL Function Plugin would accomplish this. It should accept two arguments (the fields in question) as well as a comparator.
