Anything we can do about Jira posting formatting info to Slack?

Big fan of the Jira integration for Slack. One issue, however, is that for any card transition we see lots of formatting information:
This clutters up the channel and isn't really searchable or readable.. Other than stopping all use of tables and formatting in our Jira cards, does anyone have a tip that might get us around this issue or get it worked on by Jira?
