Application link, confluence n jira on same machine: drops user session context, loses app menus.

Unusual configuration: Confluence n Jira, *and* client (user) sessions all on same (high-end laptop) machine (accessing apps as "localhost:<port>".)

With application links enabled, links report successfully connected, and drawing data from partner app on Jira landing page ...

-- Jira application drop-downs blank. (Zephyr menu still works.)

-- Subsequent cross-app data pulls fail.

-- Don't need active session on the partner app for this to happen.

-- Eliminating the links cures the problem: must restart app session.

Anybody seen this? I suspect this is some kind of identity access token collision w/in the app framework. I do routinely access un-linked Confluence and Jira with this deployment architecture, using 2 different browsers. (There is some session identity collision if you run both in the same browser: if they're in the same browser, when you go to the other app, gotta re log-in to the first app when you go back.)
