When renaming a component within a project, this automatically applies to all created issues, but is not applies to saved filters. When filters contains component condition, then rename of a component should be applied to those saved JQLs too. Otherwise it's a usability issue - manually go over all saved filters and modify component condition.
PS: is there any possibility to bulk-modify saved filters in terms of applying a changed condition?
