Dear Team,
We have an approval workflow but it is stuck there because I haven't selected any assignee for approval and saved it. Now, as there is no assignee for approval, it is not allowing me to change state and I can't close this JIRA.
Could anyone please suggest how we can resolve this?
Note: We are using JIRA Cloud Platform.

Admin is able to find out to make approver field mandatory
But not able to locate from where admin can add "Resolved" / "Closed" within status for particular ticket.

I don't understand this:

If resolved or close are statuses you can add them to the workflow. Workflows are totally customizable and you don't need these statuses, you can use others.
What really matters in Jira is to have a resolution, because it is considered a closed issue.
