Approval workflow and steps

Hi 

I have a simple task management project where i want to add an approval process.

tasks/bugs will be raised and these will be implemented in our UAT environment for testing

after the testing I want an approval step with two or three approvers before the solution being pushed into production.

Everything I have seen online seems to point to the service desk rather than jira software

Yes, you're right. I've also faced this issue and it seems to be Jira Service Desk's basic function, not Jira Software's.
