Hello! I've googled around for about an hour, finding similar posts but none asking the same question, the way I understand it.
I have followed the provided directions to set up approvals in my JIRA Service Desk workflow, and all of that is hunky-dory (working fine). However, I can *only* approve tasks from within the customer portal.
That seems strange to me -- I'd prefer to be able to approve tickets as well from the internal view, as an administrator. How can I configure that? And if it's not possible in vanilla JIRA, is there a plugin for JIRA Cloud that I can use to achieve the same end? I just want a button in my internal-view of a ticket to approve it, without finagling some kind of hacked-together solution with comments and automated approvals.
Thanks,
~W
Hi Wesley,
It is only possible to approve requests directly in the customer portal because the approver is treated as a customer in Service Desk, even when the approver is also an agent.
