Hi community,

in my job we have a Jira Software, version DataCenter 7.13.11, and we recently discovered a lot of projects that's nobody is using and just some issues created. So, we decided that we need to archive those projects. After reading the documentation (https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver0713/archiving-a-project-964983816.html), the only way there is archiving the projects one by one. But in our case that's impossible because we have more than 3 thousand projects to archive. Well, so we need help and, someone knows how can we archive those projects like a bulk operation?

Thank you,

Aldair de Brito Vicente.

If you have the ScriptRunner plugin you should have access to the Java API for archiving a project. Or perhaps the Jira REST API can help with this

ScriptRunner has a job for this but it needs Jira 8.x to work
