Are the data structures changed from version 7.10.1 to 8.5?

Hi, We are going to upgrade from version Jira Software data center 7.10.1 to 8.5, in these version changes are there modifications in the relationships or tables in the structure of the database? I'm asking this as we currently consume that data with an external tool (Tableau).
I can get this information from here?

Yes, there are a number of changes.

You should not be worrying about them - your Tableau connection should be via the REST API which abstracts the data structures away from the database, and has not really changed since Jira 6.3 (it has changed a lot really, but the changes are all additive - REST calls that worked for Jira 6.3 still work the same for Jira 8.20, but Jira 8.20 has more calls you can make)
