Are there any limits on REST fields e.g summary,description etc?

Does anyone know about limits imposed on various fields?

I am using JIRA 7.1 on cloud

What do you mean by "limits"?

REST respects the settings you configure in the UI, but I'm not sure that's what you mean. Please explain "limits"?

Ahh, field length, I see. The field lengths are the same in REST as they are in the UI
