Are there hidden tasks in the sprint board and how to unhide them?

I find myself in a strange situation.

When I looked at my team's burn-up chart, the points under "work scope" was more than the story points shown in the sprint backlog.

Does this mean there are hidden tasks on the sprint board? How can I unhide them?

The Backlog will be comprised only of the work not yet completed. The Work Scope of the Burnup Chart includes work not yet completed AND work already completed. So, the Burnup Chart Work Scope value should be higher than the total points currently in the backlog.
