Are users from my company still able to "link issues (work items)"?

Before the Atlassian migration to the cloud we were able to perform this feature but I don't see that option anymore.

According the support link below it appears we should be able to perform this function but I'm un-sure if this article is still relevant after the migration to the cloud.

https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/link-issues/

I'm also unsure if this feature is offered by Atlassian but not enabled or adopted by my comapny. Any guidance will be greatly appreciated!

Hi David - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Yes, you can do it in Cloud. See if there is a + button underneath the Summary/Title on the left side. If so, click on it - the Link issues function might be a little hidden. If you still can't find it, please post a screenshot of what you see on the issue screen.

Hi @Roberts III_David

Welcome to community!

Yes, issue linking is available in cloud as well.

If your users are not able to link, i would recommend you to check whether the issue (work item) linking is disabled in your site ( https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/configure-issue-linking/ ) and whether the project permission scheme restricts these users from the 'issue link' permissions ( https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/overview-of-jira-cloud-permissions/ )
