Few days ago some of the gadgets (including the most important - "Assigned to me") broke. We are now getting the response:
This gadget cannot be displayed on your dashboard. This could be due to a licensing problem or an application error. If you need this gadget, contact your administrator for assistance. Otherwise, you can remove it from your dashboard.
When I try to check if the gadget could be re-added to the dashboard, it is not listed on a list of gadets.
I guess this is because of the last update we had few days ago to version 8.3.3. What should be the problem? Which app or component should be enabled in order to get this gadget back?
Hi @Paweł Czaja
Did you find the solution ? We are also facing the same Issue, but we did not do any update from our end.
I am still on version 7.x.y. But there is a gadget that allows you to list issues based on a saved filter. Maybe this still works in 8.3.3.
Another workaround might be a “collector” board. We have multiple project all with the same configuration and each project has it’s own board. Additionally we have one board based on a filter that does not include any project name. Like this:
assignee=currentuser() or reporter=currentuser() or watchers=currentuser()
The board has swimlanes based on project and quickfilters for “assigned to me”, “reported by me” and “watched by me”. Actually this board is much more than a workaround as it gives you a much better structured view compared to the list gadget. However it requires your projects to share the same workflow or at least you should be able to map all possible statuses to a reasonable number of columns.
Additionally our users can work with their issues directly on the board.
