Have a strange issue, I have tickets in a project I have inherited. where the initial assignee is added, nothing is added in the history. To add to this, I can't reproduce the error, it's only when a specific user creates a new ticket that this happens.
There are some automations set up, but I have checked these and there is nothing in there that assigns a user.
I have attached a screenshot of the tickes history, and as you can see, recently the assignee was changed from one user to another, but no where in the history does it show the original assignee being added.

There's nothing wrong with the history there. The values that are entered when the issue is created originally are not listed. The description, summary, reporter and other fields that are there are also not listed.
When the history says the assignee was changed, that just means that an update of the field has happened. Even if the issue did not have an assignee before and it is assigned for the very first time, that still is a change of assignee. And that is what you see in the history.

Is the assignee set when the issue is created? That would explain why it is not showing up in the history, since the initial create doesn't show what fields were filled out.
