Atlas/Jira Goal Linking

When testing Atlas, it is possible to link a Jira Epic to an Atlas Goal from Jira. However, it is not possible to link to a Jira Epic from an Atlas Goal.

Any suggestions on how we can link to a Jira Epic from an Atlas Goal?

Hi @Margarita,

I am not sure what is going wrong there or why you are getting the error message you see. I have tested linking an epic to an Atlas goal in the exact same spot as you show in your screenshot with no problem at all.

Steps followed: Opened an epic in Jira, copied the URL in the browser and pasted it as the link to an Epic on the Jira tab in my Atlas goal. The issue immediately appears in the list.

The only thing I can think of as a possible issue (apart from a temporary glitch): are Atlas and Jira both in the same site (share the same URL) and do you have proper access to both products?

If they are not, that would be an explanation. If they are, I would reach out to Atlassian support and have them investigate what is happening there.

It seems the integration between Atlas is currently under development, currently only supporting Jira Software. If your epic is in a Jira Work Management project, it will probably not be supported yet.

The reason you are getting this error is that you have already linked this epic ticket with this goal, and I think that Atlas Goal is not showing linked epic tickets maybe its a bug.

Try connecting a Ticket which is not already linked in the Atlas Goal, you will see your ticket there but after refreshing Atlas Goal you won't be seeing any tickets there.
