We used to use Atlas hyperlinks in some of our fields in JIRA , now all our hyperlinks look like this....
[Test Company|https://ABC.atlascrm.cloud/companies/17444411174320]
In the past, when we would put an Atlas hyperlink into a JIRA field, it would become this...Test Company where the name displayed and was hyperlinked to the Atlas contact (no displayed link, just embedded)
Is this code no longer being supported?
Hi Atlassian Team,
Is this issue going to be fixed or it is an unsupported feature moving forward?
Hello Heidi,
The link structure you are configuring is related to the Wiki Markup notation which is used in the Old issue view of JIRA Cloud.
The New Issue View of JIRA uses Markdown notation, so your link must be configured with the following structure:
[Test Company](https://ABC.atlascrm.cloud/companies/17444411174320)
That been said, you can still use the same previous notation if you turn-off the new issue view of JIRA by clicking in your Profile picture > Personal Settings > Turn of the New issue view lab feature.
Let me know if this information helps.

I wish that is worked as you suggest but the following tests show that using the markdown language is not supported in the NEW view.
Image 1: Using the Markdown notation - the fields cannot handle the code for links. And when you click on the link - it errors. So Atlassian is not supporting markdown coding for links.
Image 2: This is the error I receive when I enter the above markdown code for links into comments. It is not supported there either.
If someone is willing to confirm that we will not be forced to the "NEW" view, then I will be happy to switch back. Until then, I feel it is important to understand the limitations so that I can make a decision on staying with Atlassian.
I appreciate you writing this up and providing me feedback - unfortunately, this is not a solution that works.

Hello Heidi,
Sorry to hear you are still facing problems.
I just would like to point that the link reference of the markdown formatting in JIRA works like a snippet, so you must manually write at least the last parenthesis of the mentioned link structure to properly render the link. (copy and paste is indeed not working).
Better explaining, try to copy and paste [Google](www.google.com.br and then manually type the last parenthesis in the comment or manually write the role link the field. Once you do this, you will see that the link will be properly rendered.
Indeed, we understand that for some templates where you must copy/paste links it is not working well, that's why the new issue view is still a lab feature and we are not planning to enforce it at any time until we have these many lacks (Security levels, Comment order, Markdown formatting, etc) properly addressed.
Let me know if you still have any questions.

Thank you - I do have questions. It was not working as you described so I hand typed everything [google](www.google.com) - I did not copy and paste - I hand types. I still for the same results as image 1 above. The entire line appears and it takes me to #blocked when clicked on.
If you could please help me to understand what is happening and why, I would greatly appreciate it.
I cleared my cache, tried it on another PC, and still received the same results. Any secrets you can provide would be so helpful.
I completely understand that we can move to the older version and my entire company is on the old view. I know that the "new view" is not planned for release anytime soon but I need to be prepared when that does because I need to provide my team with training and "adjustment time". Normally, I would be happy to just move to the old view and call it today but as the Director of IT, I need to be ready. Thank you for understanding. I appreciate it.

I have the same problem as Heidi has. I can confirmed that even hand typed, the link is still not rendered correctly with both Wiki notation and Markdown notation. Petterson, I don't know whether you have tried it yourself or not but if you haven't, please try it to get a better understanding of the problem.
The only way I can get the hyperlink working is to turn off the new issue view and switch back to the old issue view. With the old issue view the hyperlink is rendered correctly with Wiki notation. However this is unacceptable as this means all user will have to manually go into their profile to switch back to old issue view.
