I seem to have an issue with my Atlassian account. If I check the settings of my account, the photo is showing up but here, in the Community it's just a photo of my initials.
I updated my photo but it's still the same here. Any idea what might be causing this and how I can fix it?

in your Account settings under Profile and Visibility you can not only add a picture, but also change the visibility setting ("who can see your profile picture").
It might be set to private/ your own company only.

I had the same exact problem with this. If I was registered on my Atlassian account and had already added the photo, it would show up on the community without any issues. What I've figured is that using my company email I only had my credentials show up without an image. It took over a week for my picture to show with my company email.
With your private email, there shouldn't be any issues.

that's strange. I've always used the same account everywhere and my photo was fine

I know, this happened to me, and after some time the picture would return. I believe that it's from the site itself. Community site is different from the one that we use for our daily work.
I'd suggest that you open a support ticket for Atlassian.
