Atlassian applications sharing port 80

Anthony Valencia September 18, 2013

Is it possible for me to make my Atlassian applications (e.g. Jira, Confluence, FishEye, Crucible, Jira Agile) share port 80 w/o emloying the aforementioned mod_proxy workaround, https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Using+Apache+with+mod_proxy?

No.

Only one application can use a port on a server at a time.

It's not an Atlassian restriction, it's everything. That is the reason you end up with mod-proxy type tricks - that's one single application listening on the port and redirecting traffic to a set of other applications, making it look like they're all on one port.
