Authors name is not the same as username

Hi

we are reading our worklogs with PowerBi for activity records. We currently observe something with 3 users, here the username does not match with the author name from the worklogs. In the usernames it says "Max Mustermann" in the autorname it says "Max".

We had the assumption that the author name = public name. We have changed it and still this anomaly.

Does anyone know where the Jira Cloud gets the value from the author name?
