Auto Case/issue linking based on a filed

Hi

I just would like to ask, of how i can create an auto linking between cases based on a field

for example, all my cases have entity filed ID, I want the the system to automatically add in the linked cases section all cases that have the same entity ID

is that something possible? is there an addo-on that i can use for this.

what am looking for is similar to the "potential duplicates" function in the  Find Duplicates add-on

the issue is that this add-on does not let me define what to base the search on!

Not natively. You can use an add-on like Scriptrunner or maybe Automation for Jira.
