Hi friends i need your suggession :

we are using jira server, we are facing one problem like if jira is overloaded means it is stopping suddenly so we need to get mail alert or something while it is stopping is there is any avilable system to do that so kindly suggest me.

Jira itself can't tell you if its down but you might want to check out Uptime Robot. New Relic or Javamelody might also be other alternatives to consider.
