Auto Reject based on certain hours

I was debating and looking at options on how to auto reject tickets in a certain project based on set hours.

i.e. we have change freezes for holidays, so during those times we'd automatically reject change tickets.

I was thinking through some ways to possibly do this with scriptrunner, and figured I'd ask the community for feedback before possibly re-inventing the wheel.

Anyone have a creative solution they've used for this already?
