Auto assign every new ticket to a specific person

Hi,

I would like to ask if it is possible to assign automatically every new ticket to me in one of the boards in Jira (not all all).

Hi @Riadh 

In fact, it is not about a JIRA Board. If your JIRA board reflects single or multiple projects, you should apply the same steps, so that you become the auto assignee.

For each JIRA project,

• You can auto assign every new ticket by selecting Project Lead as the Default Assignee in the Project Settings->Details page
• You need to be the Project Lead of the project

One more option is exploring the feasibility of using Components in your project. If your board contains tickets that have a specific Component(s) from this project you can still rely on Component Default Assignee, where in you can be the Component Lead and the tickets would be assigned to you.
