When we create a On Boarding issue type ticket sub task need to created automatically. What post function do I need to use.

Hi Parsa,

Jira does not offer the option to create issues in workflows by default. You will have to look at the Atlassian Marketplace and available third-party apps to extend Jira's workflow capabilities. After choosing a solution, you will find lots of use case implementations in the community, Google and the respective app documentation as your use case is very common. :)

One free addon you could try is the Automation for Jira (Lite version).  Here is an example rule doing what you describe:
