Hi There
How do i get the date field to auto populate based on a linked jira task? In the help videos it says i should just enable the autopopulate field but that option does on exist when i look for it. What am i missing or where should i be looking for this field?

hi
sorry it was not a video but instruction on the Product Discovery support site, here is the link that i was referencing:
https://support.atlassian.com/jira-product-discovery/docs/configure-autofill-dates/
here is a screen shot of what i see when i click on the settings for the Engineering Date field, there is no option to auto populate from a linked Jira case, which is what i would like to do.

Thanks for that information!
What is your role with the JPD project? I believe you need to be a Project Administrator to configure the fields to use Autofill.

Yes, they will. You (as the admin) are configuring the fields / behavior and others will see the result of that configuration...the same as for other project types.
