I would like to create an EPIC when an email request comes into a specific project.
Currently I can't as there are two fields required on Epics, Summary and Epic Name.
I don't mind populating the two fields with the same value.
The email just does not trigger because of the two required fields.
As a work around you might be able to have the email create a unique type of child issue, say "Pre-Epic" and then use Automation triggered by creation an issue to filter for those "Pre-Epic" issues and edit the Issue Type and set the Epic Name field.
