Automatic change of avatar image

When I switch to the profile of another person, my avatar image in the right upper corner of the JIRA menu bar changes automatically to the avatar of this user.

Is that a feature or a bug?

I'm pretty sure this is a feature, so you know that you're working in the account of another user. If it only showed your avatar, then you might encounter the situation that you do not realize that you are still logged in as another user and make a bunch of changes under someone else's name that you didn't intend to.
