Automatic changelog creation of nightly builds

Hi all!

We are using Jira for the steering of our software development process with Jenkins as the CI following gitflow. Within this, we are planning features as epics whereas the smaller independent parts as (user) stories with subtasks as well as bugs for unwanted issues.

Until now, we did follow a regular release process, where we annotated the epics with the release that was done from time to time. We are now switching to a continuous delivery mode. This means, that each day the develop branch is being deployed to a near production environment.

Following this situation i want to achieve the following:

• automatic changelog creation within Jira each day
• changelog should contain stories/bugs that have entered a certain position within the issue workflow (e.g., done state)

This information would help us greatly to understand the diff each day. What would be my possibilities within Jira to achieve this?
